Before we even reach the perimonopause or menopause stage, we may already fear it or view it negatively. When we reach this stage in our lives, it’s not unusual to feel overwhelmed and out of control.

This workshop will enable you to manage the effects of this natural change, connect with others with similar experiences and learn meditation practices and techniques that can help you navigate this transition and empower and connect to yourself.

Meditation and Mindfulness practices help us deal with what we are experiencing in the present moment. By creating awareness of our thoughts and emotions, and how these feel in the body, we are able to ease symptoms when they arise, allow them to pass more quickly and feel more in control.  We can begin to allow ourselves to flow with the natural changes taking place.

Compassion meditations in particular help bring about feelings of self love and care for anything we may be experiencing. Body scan meditations help us to connect to the body, using the breath to help ease discomfort or physical pain and hot flushes.

This workshop will enable you to manage the effects of this natural change, connect with others with similar experiences and learn meditation practices and techniques that can help you navigate this transition and empower and connect to yourself.

£25 per person

Bring something to sit on or lie on such as a camping chair, yoga mat, cushion or blanket and a water bottle. Coffee and cake provided for after session if people want to stay and chat.
