Rose specialises in Person-Centred Therapy:
I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to talk to friends and relatives about how you’re feeling. I offer a non-judgmental, confidential space in which you can explore your experiences and discuss problems and difficulties. Counselling sessions give you the time, attention and focus to explore what's going on in your life and find a way forward. Together we can help create space and perspective, a chance to breathe and take in experiences and to release others. Ultimately to find a sense of balance.
I work with adults and young people over 15 years of age and have experience of working with a wide variety of issues. I have extensive experience of working with anxiety and low mood.
My experience and training also include working therapeutically with the partners and family members of Neurodivergent individuals. I also work with those coming to terms with a ‘late’ or adult diagnosis of neurodiversity, be that ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and/or Dyspraxia.
What happens in the first session?
I offer a free initial consultation over Zoom video call where we can discuss how counselling may be helpful to you.

The number of sessions that you have is entirely up to you. I work on a short, medium and long term basis depending on individual needs.

During our first meeting, we will discuss what you hope to address in therapy. We might also begin to consider your personal background and how this may be impacting you in your day to day life.

The first appointment is a good chance for you to see if I’m a good fit for you.

We would normally then meet on a weekly basis. Bi-weekly meetings can also be arranged.

Fees
