Experienced Craniosacral therapist Penny Boreham Saban is offering you two sessions of Craniosacral Therapy in July at a discounted rate of just £60 per session (usual fee, £80). Craniosacral therapy is a safe, gentle but powerful therapy which can help reduce stress, release tension and support underlying balance and energy. The first session will be 90 minutes and the second 60 minutes, and the total cost will be £120. This type of therapy originates from the work of the pioneering osteopathic physician William Garner Sutherland, and focuses on the craniosacral system – the membranes and fluid. It is based on the idea that the whole body expands and contracts in a rhythmic or ‘tidal’ way. Penny qualified from London's College of Craniosacral Therapy 15 years ago. What to expect in a session: After a short chat, you will lie fully clothed on a treatment table. A sense of safety, trust and comfort is vital for healing to take place and Penny will always tell you where she is sensing she wants to place her hands, and this will always be lightly on your head and body. After you have settled, she will gently ‘listen in’ with her hands and heart. Craniosacral Therapy is a complementary therapy and does not replace medical care.
