Ready to change your life for the better? This short course offers support, knowledge and skills to set goals, make changes and to start the New Year with self-awareness, self-compassion and the confidence/motivation to see it through. The New Year brings in new energy enabling us to focus on new habits and to set new goals and intentions. This programme is designed to seize this opportunity and to support you to focus on what works for you – harnessing your momentum and enthusiasm to help you to create changes and maintain this throughout the year and beyond. My name is Laura Buckingham and I am a qualified, passionate and experienced mental health professional. I qualified as a counsellor 14 years ago and have worked with hundreds of people, in various settings, supporting them to gain insight and understanding of themselves or the situations they are in and guide them to gain clarity and insight into how to move forward. In recent years I have developed and presented other workshops and held space for groups, supporting people at various stages of their lives. I find workshops and groups to be a highly effective and enjoyable way of supporting others to make long lasting changes, enabling participants to learn as much from one another as the workshop.
